You have ruined my favorite of the underground magazines, BUTT, the Fantastic Magazine for Homosexuals by carrying it in your mecca of hipsterdom, American Apparel. I can no longer proudly tote my copy of this once extremely difficult to acquire publication with my usual air of superiority upon my face. Now every androgynous, AA-shirted, coke-nosed hipster will too own a copy of my precious BUTT.

PS: I had to purchase this copy at my local American Apparel as it’s the only place locally to carry it. OH THE IRONY!

Yeah he totally is. He sold AA recently though for some ungodly huge sum of money. So, I guess he’s a rich creeper!
As for the pic, yeah that is him.
It was a full spread ad that ran in some magazines awhile back.
The headline was:
“Meet Dov. He Loves his employees. Maybe too much.”
However, if you do a google image search for “Dov Charney” it will come up in the first page of results.

The irony is that these “underground” magazines need companies like AA to keep them afloat. They aren’t making any money from sales and it’s good to see a major company showing their support for the the independent magazine market, like they always have.
